Case Cart Coordinator
The
Case Cart Coordinator will be important for identifying carts for each purpose.
- Clean Cart: Parked at the surgical table for the team to use while operating on the patient.
- Soiled Cart: Parked within reach of the surgical team so that they can deposit used items into the cart.
- Reprocessing Cart: This is the cart that gets cleaned and restocked with sterile supplies for the next case while the surgical team works on the current case.
Instrument Specialist
The Instrument Specialist works with the surgical team to standardize the
procedure kits, and provide the right
supplies, in the right quantities, at the right time to the materials management staff that moves the cart from central sterile service to the OR.
